President's Message
Greetings to all of you and hope that you are well and safe. It has been many months since we have been able to meet as a group, and sadly, it may be many more. I do want you to know that our board has been very busy with a new project which you will all be able to view very soon. It's called "Behind the Gates" gardens of Chapala. You may not be able to personally tour gardens monthly, but we have now videoed two very special gardens for virtual tours. We think they are truly beautiful and we have plans for several more. , as well as videos of special demonstrations which may take the place of our "Did You Know" segments.
Do you have a special interest that you would like to share with our group -- how to plant a cactus garden, how to make beautiful pots, special information about growing roses or orchids, mosaics for the garden. Whatever interests you might also interest others.
Please be in touch with us so that we can make arrangements to video you or you can even video a presentation yourself.
We have a team of experts who have spent hours completing what we believe are truly professional videos. To date, friends of the garden club have donated funds for their completion. As you know, we like to invest our funds in worthwhile organizations, so this year most of our funds have been given to the Food Bank, Poco A Poco, and Operation Feed.
